After We Thought it Was About Us…..

Much of what we do in this life is self-motivated. We have no idea why we can’t come out on top. The constant pressure to perform or be like someone else is weighing. The constant pressure to compete because we lack identity, giving us our own Kingdom empowerment to do what we do makes us weak in the faith. If we believe that HE IS, then we believe that He is the I-AM that lives on the inside of us. If we really understood that it wasn’t all about us then maybe the burdens we carry in this life would be lighter and taken less personal when it all doesn’t go our way. Why are we here? Where are we really going is a lot to ask when your mind has been molded according to the system of your reality. Do I have permission to think big? Do I have permission to dream? Do I have permission to walk out the vision that God has given me? We are so detached from God! The context of how we see and relate to Him spoils our ability to function in Him without question, stutter, and apprehension.

Taking the weight off ourselves and realizing God’s powerful deity working on the inside of us should let us know that when God came for the human race, He came to preserve His magnificent name. This does not remove the fact that He loves us and His desire is to be one with His creation. This is letting us know that we are apart of Him, and He lives in us. When God sent His son Jesus, He sent Him to hallow His divinity in the earth! We are carriers of God’s Spirit….HIS HOLY SPIRIT that is. The Holy Spirit is God because He is ONE, but He exists as three for the appropriate expression to be used where it needs to be. God is everywhere and in everyone! He just wants us to understand and come in contact with the God nature that we all carry! To say that you are irrelevant, without purpose, unimportant, or of no necessity actually grieves God! It tells Him that we don’t know Him. When we don’t love ourselves, it furthermore tells God that we don’t love Him. When we don’t love others, it also says that we don’t value God on the inside of them, which further induces the reality that we just don’t know and love God. Knowing that we all carry God in our innermost being should make it so simple to relate to others, whether they are fallen or restored. When the Jesus that we carry can see goodness in anyone, whether they make a mean pancake, wave at us, smile, exercise to take care of their bodies, etc. we should have respect for who they are. When we accept this type of love, violence will decrease and the world around us would be a much better place.

HEU: You thought it was about you, but He was coming back for Himself. You are Himself!
